A Staged Reading of Nicole Leblanc’s New Play, Veritas

Runtime: 1H 30M

Nicole LeBlanc is a New York City based actor and playwright. Originally from Nantucket, MA, Nicole is so excited to return to the community that first fostered her growth as an artist. Debuting Veritas at The Dreamland feels like a homecoming in many ways, because it literally is one. Nicole graduated from NHS in 2019 and worked as a contributing writer/photo editor on the Veritas staff until she got too busy with theatre and couldn’t get her articles in on time (sorry!!!)

At The Dreamland, Nicole has worked as an actor (To Kill a Mockingbird, The Diary of Anne Frank) and choreographer (Working, 13!, The Little Mermaid, Frozen) On island, she has also performed with Theatre Workshop of Nantucket (Sense & Sensibility) and On The Isle (The Turn of the Screw, HAIR, The Women). NYC credits include Men on Boats (The Neighborhood Playhouse) and Medea (Fusion Theatre Co.) Her new play, Dear Susie, will premiere in NYC this spring, as part of Theatre Write Now’s staged reading series. Her work is physical, feminist, and often historical. She is a proud graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse. The 90 minute presentation will include a 10 minute Q & A at the end.
